Today, you are gonna be learning how to mask a text in 2 differnt ways. Ill show you the easiest way, first.
EASY WAY;
1. Open up a blank document and a photo. Example
2. Now, on your photo, go up to Edit>Define Pattern Example
3. Go to your blank document and type out your text.
4. Go to the FX button on the button of the layer palette and click on 'Pattern Overlay.' Choose the photo that you saved as a pattern and move it around alittle. Example
5. Go to 'Drop Shadow' and mess with the settings, and your done :}

HARD WAY;
1. Open up your photo/texture.
2. Then duplicate your layer && make a new layer fill with white. Example
3. Then type out your text and move it under the duplicated layer. Dont worry, your text is suppose to 'disappear.' Example

5. Now move it around to your likings, and add drop shadows and stuff. Then your done!
